The Columbia Kennel Club serves as an information resource for members as well as for the general public  The club also conducts AKC approved dog shows and sanctioned matches through out the year.  The club is open to all individuals interested in increasing public awareness of dogs and dog events.  You DO NOT have to own an AKC registered dog to be a member.

We strongly recommends that you be informed before you buy a dog and understand that dog ownership is a long term commitment.  One of our club's goals is to help people be informed of both the benefits as well as the responsibilities of dog ownership.
